3. BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Fam Soo Fen is
hardworking, responsible and engage high performance to deliver quality work on
time. Her core value in life is trust and integrity. Her empathy, an
approachable, very cooperative and pleasant personality makes her being easily
accepted by the students, colleagues, her research teams’ members, staff of the
college and with others government agencies and industries. She always strives
for the best achievement. Being a senior lecturer her responsibilities cover
the teaching of Statistics, Financial Mathematics, New Product Development,
Technopreneurship and Research Methodology for degree students for Bachelor
Degree in Technopreneruship with Honours (BTEC), Bachelor Degree in Technology
Management (Technology Innovation) with Honours (BTMI) and Bachelor Degree in
Engineering. She also teaches Total Quality Management for MBA students.
Besides, being an educator, she is also active in research. Currently she is
the main supervisor for Masters’ Degree and Doctorial students in Service
Quality and Education-human talent in globalized online learning respectively.
She is also a co-supervisor for Masters’ Degree students for UTeM and
Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). Her knowledge, experiences and expertise gain
appreciation and respect from professional body. Present , she is a consultant for a few
projects attached to government agencies such as Malaysia Pineapple Industry
Board and Melaka Green Technology Corporation. On top of that, she is also
doing international research collaboration with UNNES, Indonesia in Asian
Economic Community (AEC). She also has research collaboration with Kolej
Universiti Islam Melaka (KUIM) in tourism. She is a manuscripts reviewer for Q1
ISI WoS high impact journal (Springer), universities’ journal publication and conferences.
She is a social entrepreneur too. She is helping Melaka’s aborigines to improve
their socioeconomic, oral hygiene practices and education level. She loves
sports. She is the technical officer for Malaysian Athletics Union . Further
